Sat 07.19: The Dark Knight Wednesday, July 23, 2008 1:25 AM

Batman tee: Junk Food Loves Gap Kids. Boys tuxedo blazer: secondhand (Value Village). Typewriter key necklace: B*jeweled Vintage. Black bubble skirt: Urban Behaviour. Blue belt: vintage. Flats: Zara.

On Saturday night, I went to see The Dark Knight with a few friends. One of my friends also has a Batman t-shirt so we decided to dress for the occasion. Originally I had a different skirt in mind to pair with the tee shirt, but when I went to iron it, I discovered a rather large hole and I didn't have time to go to the store to exchange it.

Who else has seen the movie? How incredible was Heath Ledger as The Joker? Also, I totally felt like leaping off buildings after the movie. Unfortunately I don't think my landing would be quite as smooth as Batman's.

Dress: H&M. Striped cardigan: Jacob Connexion. Pear watch pendant: Marc by Marc Jacobs. Black ribbed knee socks: H&M. Black high heel oxfords: Aldo.

While everyone else is donning their lightest summer frocks, I always look like I'm dressed for winter with the dark colours, cardigans, and legwear. But it's always freezing cold in my part of the office (although that doesn't explain the dark colours).

That evening, I went to my second Summerlicious event, this time at 5th Elementt.

What I ate:
Amuse - Green Market Vegetable Bisque with goat cheese canapé
Starter - Salmon Wrapped Scallops with onion relish and soy reduction
Main - Lamb Shank Roganjosh with mashed potato and feta cheese
Dessert - Peach and Lychee Mousse with kiwi-lime sauce

Each dish was quite tasty, especially the mashed potatoes. So delicious.

Floral top: H&M. Flower ring: Forever 21. Gray trousers: present from Hong Kong. Dark reddish brown braided belt: dad's. Mary janes: Nine West.

Not much to say other then I wore this to work.

The top is one of my first Canadian H&M purchases when they opened here back in 2004. I guess throwaway fashion can last longer then one season.

Sat 07.12 Tuesday, July 15, 2008 8:10 PM

Heather gray men's tee: Old Navy. Heart charm necklace: Tryst by Kerry. Bird scarf: vintage. Black trousers: Club Monaco. Flats: Zara. Black leather satchel: Sabina. Sunglasses: H&M.

Yes, you can barely see my outfit, but it's the only photo I have and certainly not an outfit worth rephotographing. It was my laundry day outfit as most of my clothing was still busy drying when I had to rush out to meet a friend for lunch.

Despite the humidity, it was a pretty perfect Saturday afternoon; few things make me happier then taking a long walk around the city with a camera (Polaroid on this particular day) and good company. A gelato stop at Dolce and a rest in Trinity Bellwoods Park were the cherries on top. I don't know if my friend feels the same though, because I made him lug around my H&M purchase and some other heavy things I threw into the bag so I could relieve my aching shoulder.

The above photo of me was taken by my friend. Either I give really good directions or he has hidden talent as a photographer. I'm impressed. Below are a few images I captured on Saturday.

Sun 07.13 Tuesday, July 15, 2008 12:23 AM

White boys a-shirt: Simply Basic (Walmart). Hong Kong tee: A Little Birdie Told Me. Heart charm necklace: Tryst by Kerry. Wide leg jeans: Old Navy. Dark reddish brown braided belt: dad's. Flats: Zara. Sunglasses: H&M.

The heat is making me super duper lazy and casual. I took an unexpected trip home so I didn't bring my camera or tripod. These were snapped on my mom's point & shoot. I've also noticed a colour and contrast discrepancy in the photos on my Mac and in Windows. It'll be something I'll have to remember to look into...

The outfit photos from the last few days will be posted out of order because I didn't edit / scan them in chronological order.

T-shirt: H&M. Scarf: H&M. Gold star necklace: Chow Tai Fook (Hong Kong). Skinny jeans: Forever 21. Bracelets: H&M. Flats: Zara.

Yesterday I decided to go super casual to work because I was heading to the Jays game with a couple of friends after work (they won, 6-5; it was such an exciting game towards the end). But first, we did Summerlicious at Milagro, a Mexican restaurant near the stadium. The food pictures below are for Fruchtzwerg :)

I ordered their Sopa de Tortilla Azteca (hearty tomato & pasilla chile broth with crispy tortillas, avocado cubes & fresh cream), Puntas de filete al Chipotle (heart of tenderloin beef tips & vegetables simmered in chipotle & tomato salsa), and Fresh Mango Sorbet.

Tue 07.08: Those Pants Again Wednesday, July 09, 2008 12:03 AM

White boys a-shirt: Simply Basic (Wal-Mart). Yellow top: b + ab (Hong Kong). Long knit vest: H&M. Pink metallic belt: Jacob Jr.. Silver trio of birds necklace: H&M. Grey trousers: present from Hong Kong. Black wedges: Seychelles.

If I look hot, sweaty, and gross that's because I was hot, sweaty, and gross, thanks to the hot, sweaty, and gross day in Toronto. It reached a muggy 31˚C today. I should take pictures before work when I look somewhat fresh, but that would mean losing out on precious sleep time.

Enough of summer, bring on fall, I say! This is probably fueled by the fact that I spent some time today (finally) taking a look at the fall 2008 collections. Can you believe I held off for so long?

Fri 07.04: The New Girl Tuesday, July 08, 2008 8:26 PM

Blouse: vintage. Bow cardigan: H&M. Grey trousers: present from Hong Kong. Grey belt (not visible): vintage. Black high heel oxfords: Aldo.

Friday was my training / orientation for my summer internship. I had no idea what to wear, because luckily / unluckily the environment I work in allows a lot of creative freedom. I say unluckily because that made it harder to pick something out. In the end I figured it would be best to go with something I would wear during my own time.

Tue 07.01: About A Bow Monday, July 07, 2008 10:35 PM

Cream tunic with bow: In Fashion (Hong Kong). Bow cardigan: H&M. Black leggings with silver sparkles: Costa Blanca. Flats: Zara.

Once again I've fallen behind with posting outfit photos. I wore this on Canada Day. Not very festive, eh? I thought about wearing plaid to do the lumberjack thing, but I already did that last year.

In the evening, I went to a local park to watch fireworks. One of my friends brought a blanket to lay on, but it was a chilly night so I ended up underneath the blanket instead (or rather, wrapped up like a hot dog).

Wed 06.25 Saturday, June 28, 2008 7:48 PM

White boys a-shirt: Simply Basic (Wal-Mart). Yellow top: b + ab (Hong Kong). Black skinny jeans: Forever 21. Gold bracelets: H&M. Flats: Zara. Grey bow hairband: Forever 21.

Super super casual on a hot day. The jeans were purchased on Monday, making it the first clothing purchase at Forever 21 since they opened up in Ontario last summer. They were only $15.50 at regular price and comfortable to boot. I may have to go back and get them in blue. I guess I finally found one of those "hidden gems" people have been talking about.

While taking these photos, I didn't realize my shoes were barely visible in the full-length photo. They're the Zara flats that have been making a frequent appearance lately.

On a different note, I've finally caught up with my outfit photos. I've been pretty much living in these jeans since Wednesday so my outfits have been really boring over the last few days. In fact, I wore pretty much the same thing last night (as pictured), but with different shoes and a long vest thrown over top.

Shirt dress: eBay. Typewriter key necklace: B*jeweled Vintage. Yellow overknee socks: H&M. Brown canvas wedges: Old Navy.

Overknee socks never stay up on my legs, but they magically stay up when I roll them down to become knee socks.

Blouse: H&M. Heart necklace: Tryst by Kerry. Pants: present from Hong Kong. High heel oxfords: Aldo. Clutch: vintage.

Went to the symphony for the last time this season. I plan to change the buttons on this blouse...when I stop being lazy. The pants are a present from one of my favourite persons. I love them even though this particular shade of gray is very similar to the uniform pants I wore in high school.

White boys tee: Simply Basic (Wal-Mart). Gray cardigan: American Apparel. Charm necklace: Urban Outfitters. Black pants: H&M. Pink metallic belt: Jacob Jr.. Flats: Zara.

As much as I love these pants, I kind of regret buying them because:
a) The material is a dust and lint magnet. As soon as I finish lint rolling it, the pants have already acquired a new coat of dust and lint.
b) The pants wrinkle easily and are impossible to iron.

PS. Toronto friends, did you know Urban Outfitters opened a second location at 481 Queen Street West? It's just west of Spadina. I passed by it today, but didn't go inside. Has anyone checked it out?

Dress: Club Monaco. Pear watch pendant: Marc by Marc Jacobs. Lace tights: H&M. Heels: Nine West.

Finally getting around to some of those backdated outfit photos. I wore this to the symphony about a month ago. I've had these tights for a few years, but it was only my third time wearing them because I find them quite difficult to pull of.

Blush pink tank (worn underneath): Club Monaco. Oversized grey tee: H&M. Bird necklace: Amy Shutt. Gold star necklace: Chow Tai Fook (Hong Kong). Black lamé leggings: American Apparel. Flats: Zara.

Last night I wore my black lamé leggings for the first time since purchasing them in February. It took me that long to work up the nerve to wear them out and I think I was the only person amongst my friends who appreciated them. Ah well.

As for the oversized tee, I'm not sure if it's just a t-shirt or a t-shirt dress, but on my short stature, it most definitely could be a dress.

White top: Club Monaco. Typewriter key necklace: B*jeweled Vintage. Yellow jersey skirt: American Apparel. Grey belt: vintage. Green patterned tights: Dragon Centre (Hong Kong). Black jazz shoes: Dolce Vita.

A lot of friends have been complaining about the recent spat of cold weather, but I couldn't be happier. I like legwear and am always glad when the temperature is low enough to make use of my tights and knee socks.

I completely forgot about the existence of this yellow skirt in my closet until the past week when the same skirt popped up on Pandora and The Clothes Horse. I stole the belt idea from them.

White blouse: 3.1 Phillip Lim for Gap. Dress: H&M. Pear watch pendant: Marc by Marc Jacobs. Yellow opaque tights: H&M. Turquoise peeptoe kitten wedges: Red Wall (Hong Kong). Canvas doctor bag: Urban Outfitters.

Dear faithful readers,

I nearly killed myself trying to get the legs shot. You wouldn't believe some of the things I go through to get a photo -- it's quite hilarious.

On an entirely different note, this is the first post from my new laptop, Phillip. Eee! That's right, my laptop is named after that dude who collaborated with Gap to create that white blouse I'm wearing in the photos.

Anyway, if the daylight cooperates with me, I plan to photograph all those backdated outfits over the next week all while trying to keep on top of photographing outfits as I wear them.

Silk dress: Lux. Pink opaque tights: H&M. Ivory sheer patterned tights: H&M. Peeptoe wedges: Natural Comfort.

Believe it or not, this entire outfit costs less then $50. Thank goodness for amazing sales. I accidently ripped the sheer tights while putting them on, but most skirts and dresses cover the hole so hopefully I'll be able to sneak in a couple more wears before throwing them out. The pink tights are more of a flamingo pink then in the above photos.

I have a few more backdated outfit photos to post. Those will be coming soon.

White boys a-shirt: Simply Basic (Wal-Mart). Heather grey dress: Maple (Hong Kong). Necklaces: Tryst by Kerry, B*jeweled Vintage, and Urban Outfitters. Black ribbed knee socks: H&M. Flats: Zara.

My aunt bought me this dress while she was in Hong Kong and I was cleaning up after her eight (!) cats. That day I went to the Jays game and it was all-you-can-eat. The dress was perfect for hiding the stomach bulge after consuming all that junk food. My friend and I topped off the afternoon with super yummy mango gelato from Dolce. It's all I've been able to think about since.

Striped 3/4 sleeve tee: Joe Fresh Style. Trio of birds necklace: H&M. Skirt: H&M. Black opaque tights: unknown. Black jazz shoes: Dolce Vita.

Last week was spent cat-sitting and grandpa-sitting while my aunt and uncle jet-setted around Hong Kong for the week. My grandparents immigrated to Canada around the same time I moved when I was six and bought my old house. These photos were taken in my old bedroom. I remember choosing the wallpaper, but I don't remember that tiger decal which must've been put up for me since there were no children in the house after I moved.

The photos from the past several posts were taken in and around my grandpa's house (my old house).

White boys tee: Simply Basic (Wal-Mart). Cameo necklace: Tryst by Kerry. Paper bag waist skirt: Joe Fresh Style. Brown patterned tights: Dragon Centre (Hong Kong). Rain boots: Miss Sixty.

It's strange; I've always taken better outdoor photos then indoors, but add a person in the frame and suddenly the reverse is true. Or maybe I need to learn how to model.

It was raining the day I wore this outfit so I decided to reshoot it because leaving my camera on a tripod without a shield from the rain is not a good idea.

Sailboat print tee: 2% (Hong Kong). Polka dot silk scarf: Suzhou City Kaidi Silk Co. Ltd. (China). Brown skirt: H&M. Yellow tights: H&M. Fish flats: Argyle Centre (Hong Kong).

Reading The Clothes Horse's post made me curious; what do you consider casual? To me this is a casual look, but I know some of my friends think this is dressy simply because I'm wearing a skirt.

I couldn't decide which one to post so I decided to post all of them, even though I went a little nutso in Photoshop with the colours.

This weekend I didn't have time to photograph my outfits, so instead I'll leave you with this tourist-esque photo taken by my mom. And no, we didn't go fishing. I merely stood in front of a sign for a boat rental place at Rice Lake.

English School Teacher Saturday, April 26, 2008 12:17 AM

White blouse: 3.1 Phillip Lim for Gap. Skirt: H&M. Black opaque tights: unknown. Black jazz shoes: Dolce Vita.

My friend said I looked like an English school teacher. I'm not sure what she meant by that. Looking at the photo, I wish I included the yellow bag I used today because the outfit could benefit from a dash of yellow. The skirt is dark brown and while I generally don't mix brown and black, this skirt works very well with black. There are always exceptions to that so-called rule. The tights are ancient. I think I've had them since high school.

Shirt dress: H&M. Blue tweed suspender skirt: H&M. Greenish yellow ribbed tights: H&M. Grey & black ribbed footless overknees (wannabe Prada socks): Nine West. Black velcro tab flats: Urban Outfitters.

The jumping shot in the last post reminded me of this outfit photo for December 05, 2007, which I captured for my somewhat defunct StyleMob account. I only posted the first photo on there.

The shirt, which is actually a shirt dress, is no longer a part of my wardrobe. It fell apart the first time I washed it and H&M was kind enough to refund the money. I asked for an exchange, but they didn't have my size in stock. I miss that shirt dress.

Dress: H&M. Grape necklace: H&M. Half slip: Vanity Fair. Pinstripe tights: Club Monaco. Black leather wedges: Seychelles.

Last night I attended the opera for the first time ever. The Barber of Seville was performing at the Four Seasons Centre. Prior to that, my friend and I had the most delicious mushroom ravioli at a restaurant on Queen West. I was going to ask my friend to photograph my outfit out on the street, but I forgot my camera.

Black blouse: Club Monaco. Charm necklace: Urban Outfitters. Wide leg jeans: Old Navy. Gray & black flats: Zara. Short sleeve trenchcoat: H&M. Scarf: H&M.

On Friday I wasn't feeling well (and unfortunately my throat seems to have gotten worse today), so I didn't care what I threw on. The reason why I bothered to take outfit photos because I liked my shoes and coat (though the details are a bit lost -- I've yet to master photographing black).

Pink tank (underneath): Sparkle. Plaid dress: H&M. Typewriter key necklace: B*jeweled Vintage. Gray cardigan: American Apparel. Gray ribbed knee socks: H&M. Suede flats: Zara. Coat: First Markham Place. Black patchwork leather purse: vintage.

It's been about a month since I went shopping (aside from purchasing the coat, but I went to that mall for the food court and not for shopping) so my cousin and I took advantage of the gorgeous weather today and remedied that situation. Coincidentally H&M dominated both our outfits today, but despite the amount of shared H&M items in our closet, we didn't wear the same things.

We did, however, buy the same shoes from Zara today. $19.95 for suede flats and only GST because they were under $30; how could we resist? The shoes are pictured above -- I cheated a bit for this outfit photo since I didn't wear them, but the shoes matched my outfit perfectly so I had to. There's even a trim around the opening that is the same colour as the coat.

Outdoors Wednesday, April 16, 2008 6:49 PM

Coat: First Markham Place. Gray dress: Club Monaco. Double heart belt: H&M. Black opaque tights: H&M. Yellow & gray satin ballet flats: Joe Fresh Style. Sunglasses: H&M.

It was warm and I debuted my new coat. I felt a little overdressed with my 100 denier tights and thought I should've opted for something a little lighter. But they were perfect once I was in the shade and out of the sun. It's so hard dressing for this weather; cold in the mornings and in the shade, hot in the afternoons and in the sun.

The dress in the photos is one that I spent months pining over at Club Monaco. The first time I saw it in stores, it reminded me of a Chloé dress that I loved from their F/W 2006 collection (the one Stam took a tumble in while struting down the runway). I couldn't afford it at regular price, so I would go in and sigh over the dress. When it went on sale, my size was no longer available. For months I kept checking, hoping that someone returned one. Finally, in December, I went to a mall I didn't frequent and found two in my colour preference on the rack. Both were in my size. I guess I was meant to get this dress afterall.

Special guest appearance made by my almost 17 year old dog.

Sheep print blouse: 2% (Hong Kong). Yellow grosgrain ribbon: unknown. Red jumper with matching belt: vintage. Brown ribbed tights: H&M. Fish flats: Argyle Centre (Hong Kong). Blue vinyl bag: Urban Outfitters.

Yesterday I decided to wear one of my favourite outfits from 2006, right down to the very same ribbon and tights. Like back in '06, I wish I had a bigger and floppier ribbon.

Often when an outfit consists of many pieces, I like to change it up and not repeat it head-to-toe even if it's simply wearing a pair of different colour tights. The exception would be those lazy day outfits where it's essentially jeans plus a top and my most comfortable flats.

Cream blouse: Argyle Centre (Hong Kong). Scarf: Suzhou City Kaidi Silk Co. Ltd. (China). Blue straight leg jeans: Old Navy. Gold sparkley socks: H&M. Yellow & gray satin ballet flats: Joe Fresh Style. Bracelets: H&M. Navy leather purse: vintage.

During the early days of spring, when the temperature first rises above 5°C and the sun is shining, Torontonians mistake it for summer and break out the tee shorts and shorts and walk around town without a coat or jacket. Is this a phenomenon that only happens here or does this occur in other parts of the world? Once the warmer weather is here to stay, people dress sensibly again.

Regular visitors may have noticed that I like to pull my hair up in a ponytail. This will likely be one of the rare times you'll see my hair down. I finally went to get a hair cut today after not having scissors touch my hair for six months. Well, aside from the odd time I trimmed my bangs. And just for the record, I left the house with a coat. 12°C is warm, but not that warm.

Here is a close up of my blouse for Fruchtzwerg.

Gray tank: Sparkle. Plaid dress: H&M. Bird necklace: Amy Shutt. Jacket: 2% (Hong Kong). Gray opaque tights: Merona. Yellow & gray ballet flats: Joe Fresh Style.

My grandpa called me out for coffee while I was still lounging in my pajamas. With most of my slummin' Sunday clothes in the wash, I reached for my standby dress. Today was warm enough to pass over the down parkas and wool coats for something lighter; at least while the sun was out.

Thanks to foreshortening, my already large feet (for a petite girl) look ginormous in this photo.

Velvet Jumper Sunday, March 23, 2008 2:57 AM

Heather gray turtleneck: Old Navy. Velvet jumper dress: Erin Fetherston for Target. Pear watch pendant: Marc by Marc Jacobs. Black ribbed wool tights: Jessica (Sears). Black patent brogues: Aldo.

It appears that I'm not the only gravitating towards blacks and grays lately. Up until maybe two or three years ago, I had almost no black clothing in my closet and now I seem to have amassed quite a bit...

This outfit was worn out to dinner with high school friends earlier this evening. It made me feel a bit bland, but I woke up late from my nap and had about ten minutes to make myself look somewhat presentable on a rather cold night. Perhaps next time I'll try something with pattern underneath, although I'm on the fence about this dress. It makes me look younger then I already look.

I call this dress my Madame Mode dress because the first time I saw it was on her blog and I had to have it. As soon as she told me it was from H&M I went to go look for it. Luckily one of the four left on the rack was in my size.

Like the title says, I wore this first to work then out at night (after a much needed nap in between -- I woke up at 4:30 am and couldn't fall asleep again!). However, I wore black flats at work since I was on my feet all day.

Shirtdress Monday, March 03, 2008 7:33 PM

Shirtdress: eBay. Trio of birds silver necklace: Forever 21. Black opaque tights: H&M. Quilted black flats with bow: Red Wall (Hong Kong).

It was surprisingly warm today, but it won't last as there are now winter storm warnings in effect. If you haven't figured by now, weather usually plays a large role in how I dress.

Black & White & Shades Sunday, March 02, 2008 3:01 AM

Dark grey turtleneck: Old Navy. Dress: H&M. Pear watch pendant: Marc by Marc Jacobs. Black ribbed tights: H&M. Footless overknee socks: Nine West. Wedges: Seychelles.

Tonight I went to a jazz bar with a couple of friends. This was taken afterwards, when I got home around 1:30 AM hence the disheveled, tired, and wrinkled look. I love this dress, but it looks like it never met an iron within five minutes of slipping it on.

Can't believe it's March already; where did the first two months of the year go? I'm glad our daylight lasts until about six o'clock these days.

Basic & Boring Wednesday, February 27, 2008 10:25 PM

Heather gray turtleneck: Old Navy. Dark gray wool sweater: Joe Fresh Style. Pear watch pendant: Marc by Marc Jacobs. Wide leg jeans: Old Navy. Brown suede boots: Forleria.

When it's -23°C outside with a biting wind that nips at the blood in my veins, the only thoughts left in my head are warmth and comfort. Oh, winter blahs. It's hard to believe it hovered around 0°C yesterday.

Mad Plaid Yellow Monday, February 25, 2008 6:32 PM

Top: WaWa at Pacific Mall. Wool plaid jumper: 2% (Hong Kong). Owl macrame necklace: Etsy (macraMe). Brown ribbed leggings: Target. Green flats: Sam Edelman.

Today was warm, but it'll be cold again on Wednesday. I did pull on boots before heading out though. Too cold for bare toes, but if I wanted frostbitten toes I would've gone with the green flats. Just for the record, I don't wear shoes inside my carpeted house (no thanks to embedded dirt!). I only wear them for the photos (after cleaning the soles first).

Lazy Sunday Monday, February 18, 2008 5:10 PM

Heather gray turtleneck: Old Navy. Sweater vest: vintage. Skinny belt: vintage. Wide leg jeans: Old Navy. Aqua flats: Urban Outfitters via Value Village. Flower ring: Forever 21. Bag: Rise Commercial Building (Hong Kong).

This outfit is from yesterday. It was a lazy and rainy Sunday. First came the freezing rain then the regular kind making a huge mess of the streets. In the evening I went to see Definitely, Maybe (cute, though I think my friend & I were the only ones in the theater old enough to laugh at the '90s references) and later had a yummy mango milk black tea unlike the horribly powdery one I drank a few nights ago.

Today is the first time we're celebrating (celebrating? I guess we're celebrating...) a new public holiday here in Ontario; Family Day. It's another lazy day and I'm still in my pajamas.

Gray turtleneck: Old Navy. Plaid Flannel dress: H&M. Gray skinny belt: vintage. Black ribbed tights: H&M. Shoes: Nine West.

Not much to say other then this flannel dress is surprisingly warm.

Piling It On Thursday, January 31, 2008 5:53 PM

Thanks to the super cold weather outside, I decided to stay home and pile on the clothing to stay warm.

Gray turtleneck: Old Navy. Black leggings: Joe Fresh Style. Cardigan: H&M. Scarf: H&M. Fingerless mitts: Urban Outfitters. Slippers: Old Navy.

Starting with a turtleneck and leggings for base, I put on a thick cardigan, wrapped a scarf around my neck, added some fingerless mitts, and dug out my trusty ol' slippers.

These days, I adapt the same sort of idea when I head out; I throw on every article of clothing I can dig out of my closet so I don't freeze. That's the problem with Canadian winters. It's hard to be creative when it's so cold and I always wind up in a rut.

Thrifty Thrift Tuesday, January 29, 2008 8:24 PM

It's been a while since I last went thrifting (October 2007 to be more precise) so this afternoon I took a gander at my nearest Value Village.

This time out, I was mostly impressed with the selection of teacups and saucers, but without a place to call my own I set each one back down on the shelf.

Instead I left a store with a $2.99 perfect-for-summer purse and a $3.99 pale yellow dress similar to some I've been staring at lately on eBay.

The dress needs a little bit of work -- the mini shoulder pads have to go. My shoulders are quite straight and broad as it is. Also, I want to see if I can shorten the dress to my knees without ruining the hem.

Spring Dressing Friday, January 25, 2008 4:52 PM

Barely a month into winter and already the stores have me thinking about spring clothing.

White tank: Old Navy Kids. Blush tank: Club Monaco. Skirt: H&M. Bow necklace: Forever 21. Pear watch pendant: Marc by Marc Jacobs. Black blouse: Club Monaco. Wide leg jeans: Old Navy.

No shoes in the photos because I want to go sandal shopping. I also need a hair cut.

I wish I was able to keep that blush tank in a medium. It was big enough to be baggy in a good way. Sadly, there was a hole in it and only a size small (pictured above) was left on the rack when I went to exchange it.
