Baked Goods
Sunday, December 20, 2009 7:19 PM

During an afternoon drive on a warm November Saturday afternoon with my favourite person, we ended up in Goodwood where we came across the bakery, Annina's Bakeshop. We left with only a butter tart and cookie, but they were so good it prompted us to go back the next weekend to pick up some treats for our families.

Ooh, you have a "favourite person"? ;)
The picture of the sunny upstairs eating area through your link makes me want to go there for tea! Goodwood sounds far but I Google Maps-ed it and this place is not far at all.

These were taken in the sunny upstairs eating area, except it wasn't so sunny that day. :(
The bakeshop is about 25 minutes north east of where I am so not very far at all!

So I was in Toronto this weekend for about 48 hours, and I love the city, even though I hardly got into it! I wish I'd had time to contact you and see if you wanted to meet.
My sister lives in The Beaches just outside Leslieville. We ate at Table 17 on Queens. I loved their cheese board on their dessert menu.

When I was going to school, I lived north of Leslieville in Riverdale. I'm glad to hear you had a good time in the city! I wouldn't have been able to meet up over the weekend anyway as I wasn't feeling well. Hopefully another time as I'm sure you'll be back. :)

Thank you! I hope you have a great 2010 too.
I do like Korean food! I was in Seoul back in May, so sadly I don't think I'll be going back anytime soon.

Those would be it! They're sold at the grocery stores here, but they're not a buttery sweet like these ones from the bakery, but a sugary sweet. I used to think those ones were good until I went to Annina's!
Thanks!
