Wilfred Coats Wednesday, November 11, 2009 10:26 AM

Somehow my distaste for Aritzia has turned into a love affair this season -- though I've always had a soft spot for their in-house line, Wilfred. Can't wait to check out these coats in person.

Swoon, I love the simple lines of the top one.

Me too! Though it may be a bit more casual then what I'm looking for.

They're all actually fairly nice. Damn Aritzia.

ps. Have you gone to the Luella online shop? I'm sure you have but, there's a ton of stuff that got crazy marked down and it all seems like you :)

Sigh, don't tempt me, Michael! I love Luella, but even with the markdowns, it's out of my price range :(

Love love love the gray one!

Those coats are gorgeous, I really like the grey one, it looks so comfy ! Too bad they don't sell in Europe :(

That gray one is pretty cool. How much do you think it is, $300-400? Yawzah! I hate how expensive good coats are.

yulanda replied to Nathalie | 2009-11-11 06:41 PM | Reply

I'm guessing somewhere between that. $350? Considering the last expensive coat I bought ($300) lasted me five years, I think it's a good enough investment. That's less then $100 a winter!

The grey one's super nice.

yulanda replied to jenny | 2009-11-11 10:46 PM | Reply

That seems to be the general consensus!

Swoon. Thud.

Those are lovely coats, especially the top couple.

I really like the grey one too, but I think I have a problem with the color grey...my sister told me that I may need to branch out.Shawl style collars are a pretty good bet too

yulanda replied to jon | 2009-11-12 06:02 PM | Reply

Me too. I own so much grey. It's the perfect colour though.

the cocoon coat is really nice and the wool is nice and scratchy. very rustic feeling. but i don't think it's be warm enough for the colder fall days (especially in canada!) or winter at all.

i love the boyfriend trench.. couldn't find them in my store though!

yulanda replied to Alice | 2009-11-12 11:49 PM | Reply

That's too bad. Do you remember how much the cocoon coat was?

seesaw designs | 2009-11-17 10:50 AM | Reply

if only it got cold enough here (in AZ) to justify buying a coat like that. they're gorgeous -- and so is your blog.

midori | 2009-11-18 02:42 AM | Reply

lovely coats! is aritzia strictly a canadian thing? saddd (for me, anyway)

yulanda replied to midori | 2009-11-18 09:43 AM | Reply

Nope, they have a few stores in the States. I believe they started expanding last year.

midori replied to yulanda | 2009-11-19 06:44 PM | Reply
