Danny's Fish & Chips Thursday, October 29, 2009 12:00 AM

A fish & chips lunch with my brother in early October. I shot these on film and only picked up the prints this morning. Expect more food photos to come.

Developing old film is always like Christmas morning.

The fries look too good, and I just ate :)

Couldn't have said it better :)

Mmm, looks scrumptious! Fish 'n' chips is one of my many, many weaknesses.

Totally agree on the film comment... Makes me wish I still shot film for that very reason!

I just love the composition of the still life shots. The colors are just so rich.

Now I'm hungry.

I'm trying to shoot more film, especially since I realized some of the film I have lying around will be expiring soon!

Thank you.

Oooh, it looks so yummy!
I've just been getting into shooting with film too, and actually just got a roll developed today. The anticipation is always so exciting, don't you think?

What camera and film do you use?

Fish and chips. So good. It's like batter and a deep fryer were meant to be together...

Food porn is the best!!

Great photos, they have really nice colors to them. Ah, and I love food too, haha.

You know, just when I think that I've accepted digital photography, I see film photography and I remember why digital can never replace it. Le sigh. Great shots, Yulanda. :)

Beautiful softness in the background, always anticipating film photos, and photos of food - all the better!!

I shoot on my trusty Canon 7N with Kodak film.

Haha, so true -- it's the perfect marriage!

I think I've come to terms that one will never replace the other and they should be treated as different tools. I do prefer film though.
