Baggy Baggage
Friday, June 12, 2009 2:48 PM

From K-Zone, Arglye Centre in Mong Kok.

From a random store in Taichung, Taiwan.

From MMMG in Seoul, Korea.

From K-Zone, Argyle Centre in Mong Kok.
This is my bag haul from Hong Kong & Asia. I spent nearly a month contemplating the first bag and finally bought it during my last night in town (barely squishing it into my suitcase). The striped bag was the best purchase ever because it fit both my film SLR and DSLR; perfect for my indecisive nature, not so perfect for my shoulder. What can I say about the tote bag, other then no trip to Seoul is complete without a visit (or four) to Millimeter / Milligram? The fourth one was the first bag I bought. While paying for it, I spotted the first bag which launched the month-long decision.

What can I say? The first bag is an excellent decision. It looks a little like a Xiao Long Bao. Its perfect.

mmm, thanks, now I want to eat my bag. I had some mediocre xiao long baos a few days ago so I've been craving for some more.

good buys! although the 1st & 4th are quite similar, you did right buying both, different enough to warrant the purchases!

nice!!! my fav is #3 :)
but i also love #1 and #4 as well although they are quite similar... i mean.. they would probably go with the same outfits you would pair either of them with.

GREAT bag picks! Don't you wish there were more bag offerings like this in N. America? (Preferably online, so we Americans and Canadians alike could both get in on the action. :) I love, love, love the first one -- sometimes you just gotta go with your first instinct! And the striped one is so useful AND adorable. Stripes go with everything!

God, yes! Some of the bags I saw at K-Zone reminded me of some of the bags I'd seen at Urban Outfitters, except UO charges like 4x the price!
