Steven Alan x Uniqlo Wednesday, May 27, 2009 1:06 AM

I thought I'd follow up my previous post with pictures of my first clothing purchases made, oh, about twenty minutes after I bought my Muji pens. I walked into Uniqlo and found the entire Steven Alan collection on sale -- how could I say no to that? Japanese brands seemed to be the shopping theme for that day.

You're back! Yusss!

These shirts are awesome, and I love the way you've photographed them with the light coming in from behind. They definitely have a very Japanese-fashion feel to them!

YES! Uniqlo is such an awesome place to shop. You can always find great deals. I got same peachy-orange shirt on sale - the blue as well. Can't wait to see how you wear them.

Those shirts are lovely! I'm liking the sheer; usually I don't like it, but these seem more dressy and smart, which excuses sheer imo.

yulanda replied to Meg | 2009-05-27 05:22 AM | Reply

They're actually not sheer, it's just the backlighting that makes them look sheer :)

I just wrote my mom in HK and asked her to check out the Steven Alan sale for me! Thanks for the heads-up!

Love the shirts, and love the photos! Those window bars are just so quintessentially Hong Kong (along with clothes hanging out to dry).

The second shirt is stunning, so delicate and feminine :)

Thank you! And yes, so true about the drying part.

Oh, those are such pretty blouses! I just love how sheer fabric takes to the sunlight.
