On Saturday night, a friend and I made a mad dash to the Superstore before it closed so we could take advantage of the tax-free weekend. I didn't buy any clothes, but I picked up a cheek tint and a tinted lip balm from Joe Fresh Beauty -- so much for the self-imposed lip product ban. I have yet to try the cheek tint, but I am liking the tinted lip balm so far. It smells so good that I want to eat it straight from the tube. It reminds me of Fuzzy Peach candies and I keep uncapping it to sniff it.

Me too. I always feel like a clown wearing anymore more opaque on my lips :(

A no-tax weekend, that sounds awesome! I love the way the light reflects off and even includes the name on the ground.

I've found as I've gotten older that the only type of lip make-up that appeals to me are glosses or tints. These look wonderful. You don't know if they carry Joe Fresh in the States do you?

I picked up the peach cheek tint and the black eyeliner and I love them both! am curious as to what their foundation is like... might try it when my current one runs out!

Was it tax-free weekend everywhere?! For us, it was just something put on by the Superstore for Friday and Saturday, which included everything but prescriptions, alcohol, tobacco, and the independent merchants within the store (ie. dry cleaners).

I got lucky.. I accidently blocked the light with my arm and noticed what it was doing to the reflecting :)

haha, yeah, I should just give up on shopping bans of all sorts.

Unfortunately it isn't available in the States. Right now Joe Fresh is exclusively Canadian and I've never heard mention of plans to expand.

Their foundations, unfortunately, all look too pink for my skin colour! Such a shame. The peach cheek tint looked nice when I tested it on my hand. I really want the black liquid liner, but the location I went to was sold out. Ugh!

I like the tinted lip balm so far. It's moisturizing and not drying at all (some lip balms dry out my lips). I've yet to try the cheek tint though.

It depends what kind of gloss you're referring to. There's more colour then the Shu Uemura or Juicy Tubes squeezy tube type.

Your story reminds me of a guy I knew in high school that literally ate lip balms because they smelled and "tasted" so good.
