Photos via M.A.P..

Some beautiful work by Australian-born photographer, Beau Grealy. I love the subdued colours in the first two rows, the cinematic feel of the next two rows, and his overall use of light.

The subway photos at the bottom remind me of Walker Evans' subway series. I wonder if it was an intentional reference or not?

Oh, the fourth one (third one down). It is a house out of my childhood recontextualized. I just spent five minutes staring at it.

Shiiiit. I am so in love with Kasia Struss! She is amazing. Ever since I saw her in a Jil Sander campaign she has been one of my faves.

Same! I have the book. I am thinking about posting some images from it so everyone who may not be familiar with it can see how wonderful his work is. :)

PS. I am trying to! Unfortunately her comments seem to be moderated, because I want everyone passing through to know what a fraud she is. UGH! I seriously contemplated bypassing the warning and going straight to filing a formal complaint with Wordpress.

I love the fifth picture. The blue, the setting ... beautiful pic~! The last black and white pic is also pretty. I'm wondering where's looking at.
