Wed 09.03: A Simple Plan Wednesday, September 03, 2008 9:23 PM

Boys tuxedo blazer: secondhand (Value Village). White top: Club Monaco. Charm necklace: Urban Outfitters. Grey belt (not pictured): vintage. Wide leg jeans: Old Navy. Grey wedges: H&M.

Today was hot, hot, hot so it was best to dress simple. I used to live in these jeans, but I haven't worn them in some time because I lost a little bit of weight without even trying (!) and now they're too big at the waist. This morning I decided the saggy bum effect from jeans a size too big were worth not having denim cling to my legs in the humid weather.

Yes, I realize I always complain about the heat. I've never been a summer person and I'm anxious for fall especially seeing so many of you in lovely tights and coats and all things related to the cooler weather. Summer is so last year.

lovely outfit. i like the tonation of the pictures. the tiles are gorgeous. i must admit that the last picture is a bit disturbing for me as it looks like you hang yourself. i think my imagination goes too far -___-

I couldn't agree more with you.I can't wait for the winter,or at least for a colder weather in order to be able to wear jackets,huge scarves and knits...The worst thing is that here it's still 25˚C..

As fellow non-summer person, I feel ya. Also covet your gray wedge oxfords - love! Found you via K.Line, and can't tell you how gorgeous I find your photography. You got the skillz, lady. Your shots of The Ex put mine of the MN State Fair to shame ... though we both enjoyed llamas.

Thanks! I love my blazer :) I bought a new one not too long ago -- not tuxedo style, but another boys one. I still have to make some adjustments on it before wearing though.

Ahhh, don't worry, I thought the same thing too although it wasn't my intention. I wanted to get my hands on the counter in the frame as well, but due to the tight space it was impossible.

Thank you! I've always been a fan of the wide leg, but I deviated to the skinny for a couple of years. I'm glad it's coming back and I've been reminded of how much I like wide leg jeans and pants.
