Sat 08.16: Day Trip Friday, August 22, 2008 1:54 AM

Dress: H&M Young. Grey leggings: Giordano. Flip flops: G.O.D. (Hong Kong). Sunglasses: H&M.

Last Saturday a friend and I went exploring at Sandbanks Provincial Park. Along the way, we stopped by to have lunch at Regent Café in Picton. There, I had a delicious red pepper and black bean soup served with a slice of sundried tomato and black olive bread. We bought a small loaf of the bread and some chocolate chip cookies on our way out.

On the way home, we passed through Bloomfield where I had scrumptious homemade apple pie ice cream from Slickers. They create their ice cream with local ingredients. My only regret is not getting a double triple scoop.

Mmm, apple pie ice cream sounds sooo good! Your pictures look really nice, they have so much depth (??), like it looks peaceful, but there's so much to see... does that make sense? Haha.

These pictures are wonderful! The Lake Ontario seaside looks mystery-like and very romantic! I live in the Lake Michigan area and I haven't seen any resembling beauties, but I may yet to explore them.
I love your sunglasses, too, and you look great in them! (I always have trouble finding the perfect sunglasses that I look good in;-))

Thank you :) It's funny hearing Lake Ontario being described like that because we often joke about how contaminated the water must be, but this shoreline is ten million times nicer then how it looks in that city -- that is for sure. Perhaps Lake Michigan is the same further from the city (assuming you're near one).
