White boys a-shirt: Simply Basic (Wal-Mart). Rose print strapless dress: H&M. Yellow & gold belt: Crossover Boutique (Pacific Mall). Brown canvas strap wedges: Old Navy. Gold bracelets: H&M.
This outfit was worn to a friend's birthday barbeque last weekend. Lots of deliciousness was consumed including mango and strawberry gelato that a friend picked up from Dolce.

Oh how beautiful, you got the organic cotton dress by H&M (Trend section)! I fall in love with it already when I saw it on the_kitten but now I really want to have it! Hopefully it's still left somewhere in Stockholm.
I'm sure you were the most beautiful girl at the bbq birthday party (maybe with your friend) :)

Beautiful dress! I like the way you styled it as well. Ah, I miss the parties I attended for friends during the school year. Now that it is summer everyone is either away or too lazy to organize events...

You look gorgeous here! I like how you change the strapless dress with the shirt and the belt, and the print of the dress is just wow;-))

I love how your colour scheme goes perfectly with the wood of the stairway! Oh, and the belt really makes that outfit. K

I love the dress and t-shirt combo, they go great together.
ps: old navy is life. I find the greatest things in there.
pps: I have to start discovering more of toronto, I've taken note of the different places you mentioned in the past post. wish I was from downtown!

Thanks, K. When I was trying to figure out where to shoot this outfit, I immediately thought of the stairs because of the wood and the yellow carpet.

i totally almost bought that dress. but i dont know if it is the same in canada, the zipper on the one here SUCKS. on every single one i tried on the zipper would stick so it wasnt just one that was messed up, i thought it looked really cute on though after i wrestled with the zipper for 20 min!

I think (through my experience) that the quality of some brands varies depending on the country. I loved to shop at H&M when I visited Germany, but when I browsed through one of the US stores, I could not buy a thing because the quality expectations were too high after the european stores. Maybe it's just me?

Amazing photos, as usual. The stairs shots make me think of 'The Other's or 'Angels & Insects' for some reason--very Gothic.

no, I've noticed that the zippers don't glide very well at about the midpoint on this dress. however, the one i have isn't too bad -- I just have to tug a little harder.

Thank you. I've never seen Angels & Insects. I'll have to google some images.
