Dress: H&M. Bird & leaf necklace: Forever 21. Bird scarf: vintage from mom. Light pink ribbed footless tights: Sparkle & Face. Yellow heels: Nine West. Flats: Zara.

The flats were worn during the commute and the heels were brought to work in a dust bag. Only the heels stayed on for five seconds because I ended up doing a lot of walking within the building. At quarter to one, I dashed out to meet a friend for lunch hour power shopping and she bought a pair of leg-envy inducing pants which hopefully will pop up on her blog sooner rather then later (guess who?).

i like this outfit! cool way of wearing your scarf. did you twist it and somehow tucked them under a loop? and your tights! i think it goes very well with the dress! footless tights are so easy to wear, especially if they become sort of step on.

Thanks, Ellen. I didn't twist it at all, at least not on purpose. I just wrapped it around my neck a couple times and tucked the ends in.

Let me reiterate how great that outfit was. You know, I didn't notice the leaf necklace when I saw you but it really takes front and centre in that top pic. And thanks again for your present. I'm really enjoying it.

Ahh, that's too bad! They had a metallic brocade version and I was so tempted to pick it up as well because I love the shape so much.
