Sat 07.19: The Dark Knight Wednesday, July 23, 2008 1:25 AM

Batman tee: Junk Food Loves Gap Kids. Boys tuxedo blazer: secondhand (Value Village). Typewriter key necklace: B*jeweled Vintage. Black bubble skirt: Urban Behaviour. Blue belt: vintage. Flats: Zara.

On Saturday night, I went to see The Dark Knight with a few friends. One of my friends also has a Batman t-shirt so we decided to dress for the occasion. Originally I had a different skirt in mind to pair with the tee shirt, but when I went to iron it, I discovered a rather large hole and I didn't have time to go to the store to exchange it.

Who else has seen the movie? How incredible was Heath Ledger as The Joker? Also, I totally felt like leaping off buildings after the movie. Unfortunately I don't think my landing would be quite as smooth as Batman's.

I also saw batman and agree Heath ledger was incredible, it's so sad that he died. when i went, the cinema was packed and i think that because i am in perth (the place he is from) people who don't even like batman went to see it just because of him but it was still great!

how cool you look! I'm quite jealous of everybody who can watch Dark Knight right now, it takes so much time until it comes out in Germany. End of August! That's so bad because I really want to watch it right now!

What's the reaction to the movie like in Perth? I think a lot of people who weren't planning to see this movie are going to see it for Heath Ledger's last performance.

Thanks! Wow, I can't believe it doesn't come out until the end of August. It's already out in Hong Kong and Thailand.

Good luck with that! Luckily, most of my friends wanted to see it so it didn't take much convincing -- in fact, someone else planned it out.

They have some vintage inspired Star Wars ones at Gap Kids :)
