Heather gray men's tee: Old Navy. Heart charm necklace: Tryst by Kerry. Bird scarf: vintage. Black trousers: Club Monaco. Flats: Zara. Black leather satchel: Sabina. Sunglasses: H&M.
Yes, you can barely see my outfit, but it's the only photo I have and certainly not an outfit worth rephotographing. It was my laundry day outfit as most of my clothing was still busy drying when I had to rush out to meet a friend for lunch.
Despite the humidity, it was a pretty perfect Saturday afternoon; few things make me happier then taking a long walk around the city with a camera (Polaroid on this particular day) and good company. A gelato stop at Dolce and a rest in Trinity Bellwoods Park were the cherries on top. I don't know if my friend feels the same though, because I made him lug around my H&M purchase and some other heavy things I threw into the bag so I could relieve my aching shoulder.
The above photo of me was taken by my friend. Either I give really good directions or he has hidden talent as a photographer. I'm impressed. Below are a few images I captured on Saturday.

Love the grittiness of these pics. Did you get the mango again??
PS - Tomorrow my post about the YSL show will go up. Thanks again for doing all that legwork for me! I LOVED the exhibit. Have you actually seen it (can't remember, sorry...)

Yup! Mango and pink grapefruit. So delicious.
no, I haven't seen the exhibit. I haven't been to Montréal in about three years or so. I wish I could go see it, but since I don't think I'll be, I can't wait to hear about it from you!

Thanks :) I should dig out my lomo sometime. I haven't used it in ages, but I need to buy new batteries first.

Ohhhh, these photos are fantastic! I hate pigeons in real life, but the ones in the picture don't look that evil.

Thanks! I don't mind pigeons -- except when they fly over my head.

Accidental or not, your friend did capture your picture pretty well (or you gave great directions). Great use of the surroundings, having the doors frame you, etc.
Just curious--is the first and third picture part of an urban decay theme? Not so much the neighborhood is running down, but in the sense of things aging gracefully. There's something about older buildings that I love.

He did! I was surprised, because I think he can count on one hand how many times he's taken a picture. But I did tell him to make sure he gets the two lights in etc etc. Who knows! I'll have to give him the camera again and we shall see.
I wasn't going for a specific theme, but I'm naturally drawn to old buildings, peeling paint, signs with interesting type, etc. And doors and windows.
