Sandals and Bows
Thursday, July 31, 2008 11:52 PM

So much for my weeklong shopping ban. I was planning to save the dimes and nickels for Saturday's shopping extravaganza, but I had some time to kill before meeting a friend for dinner at Pho Hung (mmm).
On my way to Kensington, I stumbled across Meteor in Chinatown and picked up the white sandals for $25. They would be perfect if they were pale yellow, but the other colour choice was gold. No thanks.
Finally, I made it to my destination which was Courage My Love. I've been meaning to go back there since there was snow on the ground to pick up some bow ties. I really do not need four, but I couldn't decide plus the price had since gone down. Sometimes procrastinating wins.

Your white sandals are great (you bought them, right?). And the bows are so cute. How was the Pho? ;)

Ever since Gossip Girl I've been obsessed with bows. I love the ones in the picture especially the pink one in the middle and the purple one in the right corner

I adore all of the bowties and the shoes are sweet as well. Shopping bans were invented to be broken it seems...

I've been on a shopping ban this week too! :-) I've almost made it but now I have to go to H&M for a kid's party birthday present. Stay away from the grown up section...

Yup, I bought them! And I wore them today. The pho was delicious! I think Pho Hung is the best place in the city. However, I'm positive your mom's is the most amazing pho in the world :)

Yeah, the pink one in the middle is my favourite. And it's a colour that would go with most things in my wardrobe, I think.

Most definitely. I should give up on the idea of a shopping ban and maybe I'll end up not shopping because I'm not banned from it.

Damn, I wrote you a whole reply but I don't think it took.
Short answer: I made it out safely.

The glitter bows are such beauties! and I like the shoes too, are they gold version really that bad though? As in my head I though it might look quite nice!

I've noticed the comments take a while to post or sometimes it times out. Gah. I don't know if it's my webhost or the blog platform. But come september I plan to switch hosts and hopefully it'll resolve this problem!

As soon as I saw the glitter, I knew I had to get one :) The gold was very dull looking -- not in a good way. It wasn't shiny enough. It looked like it was trying too hard to be gold if that makes sense!

Did you try them in a 39? I actually sized down for these! i usually size up for shoes from HK, but I bought the 37s instead of 38s.
