White blouse: 3.1 Phillip Lim for Gap. Dress: H&M. Pear watch pendant: Marc by Marc Jacobs. Yellow opaque tights: H&M. Turquoise peeptoe kitten wedges: Red Wall (Hong Kong). Canvas doctor bag: Urban Outfitters.

Dear faithful readers,

I nearly killed myself trying to get the legs shot. You wouldn't believe some of the things I go through to get a photo -- it's quite hilarious.

On an entirely different note, this is the first post from my new laptop, Phillip. Eee! That's right, my laptop is named after that dude who collaborated with Gap to create that white blouse I'm wearing in the photos.

Anyway, if the daylight cooperates with me, I plan to photograph all those backdated outfits over the next week all while trying to keep on top of photographing outfits as I wear them.

Thanks. It was pretty hard getting that bag shot as well since the infrared sensor on my camera (for the wireless remote) was on the other side. Lots of stretching was involved!

Great pictures! I like the use of blank space. I keep going outside for my pictures and ending up with mosquito bites! I think your effort is definitly worth the finished product.

Very creative outfit shots. Nice use of empty space and lighting.

I LOVE that shot of the legs in the air. How you managed it without killing yourself is impressive. But my fave is the one at the bottom. Its composition is beautiful. K

Putting up with mosquito bites is dedication. I'm such a girly girl when it comes to insects buzzing around me :\
