White top: Club Monaco. Typewriter key necklace: B*jeweled Vintage. Yellow jersey skirt: American Apparel. Grey belt: vintage. Green patterned tights: Dragon Centre (Hong Kong). Black jazz shoes: Dolce Vita.
A lot of friends have been complaining about the recent spat of cold weather, but I couldn't be happier. I like legwear and am always glad when the temperature is low enough to make use of my tights and knee socks.
I completely forgot about the existence of this yellow skirt in my closet until the past week when the same skirt popped up on Pandora and The Clothes Horse. I stole the belt idea from them.

Your shoes looked as if they're suspended mid-air--they got my eye first. Very cool.
It has gotten way too hot here in LA. I just wish there's an occasional cool day so that I can wear patterned tights.

OK - You rock the shirt. It would look just awful on me, though I wish I had the body type to wear it! And, I just can't agree with you on the weather. I like over the knee socks too (I happen to be wearing them right now) but I want some HOT!

Thanks, K. I've always liked the cooler weather. I hate summer! I guess it has something to do with being born at the end of December.

These photos of yours are especially lovely and I'm so jealous of your windows and curtains. And I really like the way you styled that skirt. I guess it's a classic!

Thanks.
It's funny how this skirt is becoming a staple in the blogosphere. Perhaps it is in real life too, but I haven't seen anyone else with this skirt in my fair city.

love love love the outfit!
I bought the same CM shirt (on sale!)in a dusky pink last time I was in Toronto.
I often wear it backwards for a different effect.
Can you wear it without a camisole underneath?

Thanks! I wanted the pink one, but this was the one size and colour left when I bought mine on sale for $9.
It's pretty much see-through if I don't wear anything underneath.
