When I opened the July issue of Flare, I was surprised to see such fun and eclectic styling on the pages of the magazine. It's something I don't expect from Flare (or any Canadian fashion magazine, really). The shoot was styled by Flare fashion director Elizabeth Cabral and shot by photographer Ishi.

Unfortunately I don't have a scanner and I couldn't find the images from the magazine or the photographer's website so you'll have to look at dodgy photos of photos instead.

My apologies for how slow things have been around here lately with the lack of posts. Things have been unexpectedly busy, but should return to normal soon. I still have outfit photos from nearly three weeks ago to post, which I should probably photograph first. There never seems to be enough time in the day to shoot what I'm wearing.

these are cool photos! and i don't know why, but i actually enjoy looking at pictures of magazine pictures, so no worries!

Those are awesome pics, and I agree with Anna--I like pictures of pictures. And you always do such a good job with scanning them.

No need to apologize for the lack of posts--it's your blog and you can do whatever you want with it. At any rate, you post more often than I do :P. A thoughtful post is worth the wait.

Take your time! I look forward to seeing more outfit pics but I know how hectic balancing blogging and other stuff can be :)

In that case, maybe I'll post more photos of magazine photos in the future if I come across more interesting ones :)

Haha, all I saw was LOL so it took me a second to figure out it wasn't laugh out loud and then I actually lol'ed. Oh, the things I find amusing!

Those photos look great to me. I can never get results that good when I shoot magazines.

It's great that you're so responsive to your readers. Glad to hear everything's OK.

Looking back at my last post, I realized that my last sentence was the written as the exact opposite of what I meant to say. You always do such a good job shooting (as opposed to scanning) pictures. I guess it's a sign I'm not as clear-headed after 16-hour workdays as I'd like to think I am...

Don't worry, I figured that was what you meant. 16 hour days - ouch! You're much more coherent then I would be after a long day.
