The Standby Dress Again Sunday, April 06, 2008 9:18 PM

Gray tank: Sparkle. Plaid dress: H&M. Bird necklace: Amy Shutt. Jacket: 2% (Hong Kong). Gray opaque tights: Merona. Yellow & gray ballet flats: Joe Fresh Style.

My grandpa called me out for coffee while I was still lounging in my pajamas. With most of my slummin' Sunday clothes in the wash, I reached for my standby dress. Today was warm enough to pass over the down parkas and wool coats for something lighter; at least while the sun was out.

I love your photography, I've got a photo from your blog on my inspiration wall (not in a stalker way don't worry!) it's just a lovely paper bag waist skirt and you're holding (I think maybe these) shoes in the picture which is such a great touch.

Stand by dresses are great they never feel boring they always feel just right every time.

Love the gray--perfectly matches the weater where I am, with the exception of those wonderful, bright shoes.
