While wasting away a Sunday afternoon on Etsy, I came across a listing for a gorgeous and ruffley capelet by Holly Stalder. Jill at Couture Salope must've spent her Sunday the same way because she posted about this designer on that very same day. Since Jill wrote a much better introduction to Holly's work then I ever will, I'll post some of my favourite looks instead.

Holly also co-owns, Seaplane, a boutique in Portland, Oregon with Kate Towers. Kate creates equally as dreamy and feminine clothing, which are accompanied by beautiful photographs on her website.

This is so eerie..I found this fantastic all-things-fairy-ish blog that has beautiful related clothes and jewelry, and it linked me to Etsy for the first time. I just spent ten minutes looking at the very same designer! That white blouse at the bottom right of the first cluster caught my eye.

Whoa, coincedence! Haha. Thanks for the mention. She really does do fantastic work, they both do!

It seems like everyone is independently coming across Holly Stalder's clothing at the same time! I love the white blouse too, but I have to say my personal favourite is the dress where the model is sitting on the bed.

No problem. It was funny -- I started writing a post on Holly Stalder, but saved it to finish for later, then your post popped up on my Google Reader a couple hours later and for a brief second I thought I accidently published my own post! Anyway, work as lovely as both of theirs deserves more recognition :)

Happy shopping! I wish I could visit the store in person.

All the clothes are just gorgeous. I especially love the white swiss dot frilly top and the tiered dress! The dress is very unique and also very "wearable" in terms of being appropriate for all sorts of occasions.

Thanks for introducing me to yet another wonderful Etsian. You have great tastes, that's for sure.

No problem. I'm surprised by how affordable her prices are, ie. I can actually buy something from her!
