A Pop of Yellow
Wednesday, March 19, 2008 6:39 PM

Black blouse: Club Monaco. Charm necklace: Urban Outfitters. Skirt: H&M. Black ribbed wool tights: Jessica (Sears). Ballet flats: Joe Fresh Style.
The weather was rainy but mild. I had yum cha at a dim sum restaurant I hadn't been to before with my mum and my grandpa. I wish I had something interesting to say about this outfit, but I don't.

No - even though I work practically across the street. I just started a new job and I'm really trying to get up to speed in that environment. I wanted to hit a few shows, take a couple of holiday days and then write all about it, correspondent-style, but I can't really take the time right now. I'm going to plan to do it for the fall shows. And I will definitely aim to see Joe Fresh.

You don't need to say anything about the outfit--it speaks for itself. I love how the top is blousy and the skirt is so structured and futuristic.
Black/gray goes so well with yellow. It's one of my fave combos.

That must be exciting to be around it though. How is the atmosphere and energy? I noticed an abundance of Project Runway Canada contestants on the show schedule, which I find interesting. Well, if you do it for the fall shows, I'll be looking forward to reading your posts about it.

Thanks! The skirt was sort of an impulse purchase during H&M's buy one get one free sale last summer.

Thank you. I have to say, yellow is probably my favourite bright to use when I need that dash of colour. I've been going through a yellow phase for a while now.
